Our business philosophy finds its roots in our commitment to the local community. We combine support for our customers with backing for local food producers, craftsmen and charities through a series of brilliant open days held throughout the year. These include professional and children’s cookery demonstrations, practical sessions on wood burning heaters and stoves and various charity events.

Range Cooker Demonstration - Tuesday 5th April. 11.30am

An informal 1hr demo with one of new Rayburns, giving you helpful tips on how to use your Rayburn. If you are looking at buying a Rayburn, we will answer any questions to help you make that decision. FREE.

Children's Cookery Demonstration - Tuesday 12th April. 10.30am.

A Fun but informative cookery session for the children, helping them gain basic skills in cooking and have fun making lovely food to eat for their lunch! £7.50 per child to include lunch.

Bread & Pastry Cookery Demonstration - Wednesday 14th September. 10.30am.

You cannot beat the smell and taste of freshly baked bread, so David Pengelly, will be showing you how to make an assortment of perfect bread and pastry! £15 per person.

Christmas Cookery Demonstration - Tuesday 6th December. 10.30am.

We all like the traditional Christmas fayre, but it would be nice to try different dishes and use up the inevitable leftovers. We will create some mouth watering sweet and savoury dishes for you to eat and answer any questions and queries you have. £15 per person to include lunch.
